Attack flow: Clear → Calc → Cancel → Send → Bar — Versus pipeline — what happens when you clear lines

In one sentence You clear → STACKR computes attack → cancels your incoming first → leftover hits opponents’ garbage bar → after the delay, armed lines appear on their board when they lock a piece.

You never attack yourself If lines rise right after you clear, that was incoming garbage that was already armed — your clear cancelled some of it, and the rest injected on that lock. Watch the left meter (yellow → red). Clear while it’s filling to CANCEL; leftover power is SENT to enemies.

Why the bar comes before the board The side meter is a preview queue. That delay (default 500 ms) exists so you can cancel with your own clears. Instant inject would remove that skill.

A difficult clear (feeds B2B) = any spin clear, or a Quad.

After base (Battle / Team)

Apply combo multiplier (see Combo tab).
If this clear continues B2B → +1 attack.
If B2B breaks and surge was charged → add surge size.
Margin: +1 attack per 90s of match time.
All Clear (empty board) → +10 attack (+2 B2B streak levels).
Garbage special (quad/spin while clearing garbage) → +1.

Then cancel / send Attack first cancels your pending garbage (1:1, or 2× in opener / volatile). Remainder is sent (split into chunks by Attack split, default 4). Passthrough skips cancel.

Solo scoring note Sprint / Blitz / Zen use a classic additive combo table and ×1.5 B2B on big clears — different from Battle’s combo multiplier. Score still uses Guideline-ish line values × level.

Combo multiplier formula — Battle / Team combo formula (from the engine)

What is a combo? A combo is a chain of clears without a no-clear lock in between. comboBefore = how many clears you already did in this chain (0 on the first clear of the chain). After a clear, displayed combo becomes comboBefore + 1 (e.g. “COMBO x3”).

Worked examples (Battle)

B2B (Back-to-Back) Doing difficult clears back-to-back raises the B2B streak. The second difficult clear in a row (and later ones) get the B2B label and +1 attack. A normal Single/Double/Triple with no spin breaks the streak.

Surge When B2B streak ≥ 4, surge charge = streak size. Breaking B2B with a non-difficult clear dumps that charge into attack (big spike). Keep chaining Quads / T-spins to grow it; dump on purpose or by accident.

Sprint Clear a line goal (20–100) as fast as possible. PB saved locally; cloud when signed in.

Cheese Race Board starts with garbage. Dig it all. Messiness = how often holes shift.

Survival Cheese rises on a timer. Last player alive wins.

Online Survival uses the room’s rise setting instead of these solo presets.

Blitz 2-minute score attack. Combos, B2B, and All Clears score big.

Zen No timer / KO pressure. Undo, redo, inject cheese, gravity override.

Battle / Team Battle Full attack system above. FFA last standing, or Red vs Blue. Optional series (bo3 / bo5 / bo7).

Race (online) First to the line goal. Enable Same seed so everyone shares the bag.

Room rule presets Casual (slower bar), Competitive (500 ms), Cheese (dirty + volatile), Slow (easy handling). Tune messiness, opener pieces, gravity, lock delay, multiplier, split, passthrough, same seed.
